UNICRI report on counterfeits now available

UNICRI -- the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute --initiated an action-oriented project, "Counterfeiting of medicines and industrial products that pose a risk to public health and safety", which was funded by Fondazione CRT, to assess the magnitude of the phenomenon of counterfeiting and in particular the growing involvement of organised crime. The results of this project have been included in a report, "Counterfeiting: a global spread, a global threat", which was submitted on 14 December 2007.
